Using AI & peer collaboration to transform the way Minnesota companies approach manufacturing

New manufacturing technologies are already impacting and even dictating changes in efficiency, quality and profitability, yet we’ve only scratched the surface in what’s possible with artificial intelligence. AI in Manufacturing (AiM) is a community of tech professionals in Minnesota dedicated to deeper learning and leveraging collaboration to push what’s possible for AI in manufacturing. AiM seeks to help Minnesota companies understand the rewards and challenges of Ai deployments and applications in manufacturing. Our goal is to explore synergistic strategies for effective realization of AI augmented systems in factory environments.

AIM is driven by these key objectives:

  • Create machine learning implementation benchmarks that can help participants gauge current efforts and understand their organization’s progress against non-competing manufacturers
  • Deepen understanding of end-to-end systems implementation, including modeling cycle, integration, and governance.
  • Communicate results to the broader Minnesota tech community through participation in MnTech events and publications.

Meet the current AIM Steering Team:
