Security Forum: Why Security Attestation Matters

September 23
3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Event Categories:

Virtual Conference
MN United States

MnTech Security Peer Forums are quarterly educational forums designed to provide excellent networking opportunities as well as candid discussions around technology issues and industry trends and challenges. Please join your security peers in a forum to talk about why security attestations matter, specifically what do your security attestations say about your org and what customers want and need from attestations.

Discussion includes (but it is not limited to) the following:

  • What audits work best for you and your organization?
  • What considerations do you make when making decisions on audits and certifications?
  • How many certifications are enough? How do you define quality? How do you make those compliance decisions?
  • What does moving to the cloud mean for attestations?
  • Which security principals are you audition on and why?

The first 15 minutes of the forum is driven by a thought leader from Thomson Reuters who will share their best practices related to a few of the topics above. The remaining 45 minutes is discussion driven and will be spent in small group breakout rooms so attendees can network, share best practices, ask questions, learn from each other and more. Attendees should come ready to share, learn, and contribute to the peer-to-peer discussion.

MnTech Security Peer Forums are quarterly educational forums, created by and for those that lead in the security space. These quarterly educational forums designed exclusively for security leaders which means only those who work in the security space will have their registration approved.

Please contact Jade Denson at Jade@mntech.org if you have any questions regarding participation.
