The Minnesota Aspirations in Computing Awards (MnAiC) program recently celebrated 48 exceptional students at the 2025 MnAiC Award Ceremony. On April 10, these awardees and their families gathered to be recognized for their achievements and ambition as aspiring young technologists. Award recipients are selected based on their aptitude and aspirations in technology and computing, as demonstrated by their computing experience, computing-related activities, leadership experience, persistence, and future plans. National and state review teams selected these students from multiple high schools across Minnesota.
Since 2012 the program has impacted thousands of Minnesota students with over 1,021 being selected as award honorees. Now in it’s 13th year, MnAiC offers year-round programs and activities to inspire and empower girls in grades 9-12 to realize their computing-related education and career aspirations.
