Big Investments, Innovation, and Impact
Recent wins have confirmed Minnesota continues to have a strong national reputation as an innovation hub, including federal recognition as a U.S. Tech Hub for medical technology, Meta’s selection of Rosemount as the site for a new data center, and a Minnesota company as one of just 7 companies so far to be awarded federal CHIPS act funding. At this Tech Talk, our presenters will showcase some exciting investments and innovation happening in our state and the impact on our state, our nation and even globally.

Presenters
Garret Anderson, AI Practice Leader at Digineer, will show participants how to win and keep customers with machine learning, including a real-life example that is valuable, accessible, and grounded – free of jargon or complex math. Attendees can take the methods he shares and apply them to their own organizations in short order.
Yakov Gradinar, Co-Founder & Chief Medical Officer of Protez, a clinic and foundation in Minnesota, will share about the positive impact of robotics and AI enhanced prosthetic limbs for Ukrainian soldiers. The innovative technology and the incredible commitment of these soldiers has allowed many of them to return to fight in the war and regain their livelihood.
Dave Neville, President and Co-Founder at Infinity Robotics will convince you that a spaceport up on the Iron Range might be the best location for a rocket launch site in the U.S. Dave will share why is the iron range uniquely situated for this endeavor and what this exciting but seemingly improbable investment could mean for Minnesota’s economy, and our country’s ability to seize the potential of industry in space.
Mike Ritzenthaler, CFO of Polar Semiconductor, will share the excitement of Polar landing an anticipated $525 million in public and private investments to expand its manufacturing facilities and offerings – establishing Polar as a U.S.-owned manufacturer of semiconductors currently only manufactured outside the U.S. Mike will share how Polar secured this historic investment and the impact this expansion will have on Minnesota.
