Tech, Talent, and Generation Mix: Exploring the Unique Value of Multi-Generational Teams
Tuesday, October 7, 2025 • 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The tech workforce is evolving—fast. With up to five generations working side by side and each bringing different values, motivations, and communication styles, leadership approaches of the past no longer apply. For women in technology, this shift presents both a challenge and a powerful opportunity to lead with greater impact. As Women Leading in Technology, we’re uniquely positioned to engage and lead through this shift with empathy, agility, and influence.
In this keynote, we’ll explore how traditional leadership models are falling short in today’s multi-generational, innovation-driven workplaces and, more importantly, what’s needed instead. We’ll examine how women in tech can harness their unique perspectives to build inclusive, future-ready teams, retain top talent, and navigate generational dynamics with clarity and confidence. You’ll leave with fresh insights, practical strategies, and the inspiration to lead boldly in a workforce that’s anything but one-size-fits-all.
You will:
- Understand the various needs, expectations, and communication patterns of each generation in today’s workforce.
- Learn how to navigate generational differences in values, expectations, and communication—while also balancing inclusivity, performance, and innovation.
- Discover the foundational leadership skills that will determine people leadership success moving forward.
- Explore how to create and reinforce foundational workplace practices that meet each generation where they are and allow teams to leverage the best of each generation to create an environment where individuals thrive and teams excel.
