The 2023 Tech Connect Conference is in the books after a successful day with nearly 400 attendees, two dozen breakout sessions, two keynote speeches, and a leadership panel. MnTech is always striving to be on the leading edge of important issues in Minnesota’s tech community and this conference is a fantastic way to learn from the best.

In the morning, futurist and AI expert, Matt Versaggi, gave a look at the power of artificial intelligence and how this incredibly disruptive force will have ripples in not only technology organizations, but in geopolitical concerns and in our personal lives.

The mid-day keynote was helmed by Dr. Jayshree Seth, a decorated engineer, author, and Chief Science Advocate at 3M. Her speech covered the rise of science skepticism and how we can nurture a love of, and curiosity for, STEM education and careers for young children, particularly women.

Lastly, our leadership panel featured five chief information and technology officers from some of the most impactful organizations in Minnesota. They discussed how their companies are using disruptive technologies to drive business success.

Throughout the day, speakers from two dozen companies gave us insights on how disruptive technologies are creating powerful change in the way we do business with cloud technologies, dispersed teams, practical uses of AI, better leveraging data, growing our science and STEM workforce, and more.

You can access a selection of photos from the event below, as well as recordings of the day’s main sessions. We hope to see you next year at Tech Connect.
