Make a Lasting Impact by Sponsoring Aspirations in Computing

You can make a lasting impact on a Minnesota-grown technologist by sponsoring MN Aspirations in Computing. There are multiple levels of sponsorship available, and each has a tremendous impact on high school students who identify as women, genderqueer, or non-binary. About Aspirations

Aspirations in Computing uses prestigious awards, scholarships, internships, and professional opportunities to amplify voices, build identity, reward persistence, and recognize fortitude as women increase their technical, entrepreneurial, and leadership skills.

Students in 9th-12th grade who identify as women, genderqueer, or non-binary can apply for the Award for Aspirations in Computing (AiC) for their computing-related achievements and interests.

Award recipients are selected based on their aptitude and aspirations in technology and computing. Students demonstrate this by their computing experience, computing-related activities, leadership experience, tenacity in the face of barriers to access, and their future plans.

Since the program’s inception over 800 students have been selected as Minnesota honorees; gaining access to paid internships, job shadow experiences, virtual mentor matches, skill building events, prizes, and much more!  In addition, Minnesota Aspirations Award applicants are automatically entered into the national NCWIT Aspirations Award competition.

If you would like to make a donation to Minnesota Aspirations in Computing and the Minnesota Technology Foundation, you can do so at our GiveMN site.
