Aleah Vinick
Director, Events and Marketing
Aleah serves as MnTech’s Director of Events and Marketing. She has deep experience in non-profit events, community development and program management. Her most recent work experience was with the University of Minnesota, as the Events Director for the Hubbard School of Journalism & Mass Communications, in which she managed events and vendors as well as supported the development and execution of marketing and public relations communications. Earlier in her career, as the Young Adult Audience Specialist at the Minnesota Historical Society, Aleah developed and managed programming for teens and young adults. More recently as the Manager of Donor Events & Programs at the Science Museum of Minnesota, Aleah grew her experience with development and fundraising events, helping to accomplish dramatic increases in event attendance and expand member engagement with the museum, while also managing event rental services. Outside of work, Aleah enjoys spending time with her husband, son and cat at their home in Powderhorn Park. She also loves traveling to visit family or explore new destinations. From time to time, you can find Aleah at Cooks of Crocus Hill, where she has a side gig teaching baking classes a few times a month.
