As a Product Owners, we are responsible for executing on a strategy and roadmap to meet our customer’s needs and deliver results for the business. A critical stakeholder in that execution is the development team. In this session, we will discuss the Product Owner’s role as the development team develops and releases code, including how to incorporate Dev Ops and security best practices and increasing the technical health of your product. Discussion includes but is not limited to the following:

• Do you have examples of where similar best practices have or haven’t worked well?
• How do you get the team and business partners to understand the benefits of DevOps?
• What are outcomes of these best practices you have seen that we didn’t talk about?
• What tools do your teams use to help with DevOps, Security and Tech health?
• What barriers exist in your organization that prevent these practices (i.e. infrastructure team that owns environments)

The first 15 minutes of the forum is driven by thought leaders from Securian and Clientek as they share their best practices related to a few of the topics above. The remaining 45 minutes is discussion driven and will be spent in small group breakout rooms so attendees can network, share best practices, ask questions, learn from each other and more. Attendees should come ready to share, learn, and contribute to the peer-to-peer discussion.
