MnTech Security Peer Forums are quarterly educational forums designed to provide excellent networking opportunities as well as candid discussions around technology issues and industry trends and challenges. Please join your security peers in a forum to talk about what leaders are doing to prepare for a ransom attack. Security leaders will have a collaborative discussion and dive into what they are doing to prepare for a ransom attack.

Discussion includes (but it is not limited to) the following:

• How are you educating your organization and teams about ransomware attacks? 
• What tools, technologies or controls are you implementing as part of your ransomware defense strategy? 
• What makes a ransomware attack different from other malware attacks?
• How effective is your strategy in defending against ransomware attacks?
• What are some key areas to consider in preventing, detecting and recovering from a ransomware attack?

The first 15 minutes of the forum is driven by a thought leader from Prime Therapeutics  as they share their best practices related to a few of the topics above. The remaining 45 minutes is discussion driven and will be spent in small group breakout rooms so attendees can network, share best practices, ask questions, learn from each other and more. Attendees should come ready to share, learn, and contribute to the peer-to-peer discussion.
