Event Summary

Sri Koneru, CIO of Winnebago Industries and incoming MnTech board chair, will team up with our own Joel Crandall, VP of Talent, to lead an interactive conversation focused on building tech talent strategies for 2024 and beyond. This forum will illuminate the broader workforce challenges we face as a state, highlight key levers for change, and the important role our business community can play in solving our talent challenges. Participants will gain valuable information and the perspectives of fellow tech executives to leverage in creating their own talent management strategies as they approach the new year.

On the heels of MnTech’s October 27th Tech Talent Conference, we will share some of the data and insights from the conference to support an informed discussion among participants, including the current and projected tech workforce supply and demand, as well as key long-term demographic shifts anticipated for our state.

We welcome you to include your CIO/CTO/CHRO partners for this interactive conversation, to include topics such as:

    • What is the role of business in solving our state’s talent pipeline challenges?
    • Costs/benefits of offshoring when talent isn’t available here?
    • How can we better tap into historically overlooked talent pools?  What’s working?  What’s not?
    • Hiring for competencies vs. degrees – just talk or we hiring differently?
    • Are IT teams coming back into the office or given a hall pass?
    • And more…

Attendees will also receive a link to the latest State of Tech Talent report which will be hot off the virtual presses.

We hope to see you on November 8th!

Please Note:

These forums are by invitation-only to CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, CDOs, and others on their leadership teams.
