Securing your next career opportunity begins with a strong and impressive resume. Your resume is the first impression that companies and organizations have of you, and it can significantly impact your chances of landing an interview. Therefore, crafting a well-written and polished resume that sets you apart from other candidates and leaves a positive impression on recruiters is vital.
Join us on Tuesday, February 27th, at Prime Digital Academy from 4:30-7:00 PM for our first Jumpstart event of the year. This event provides a unique opportunity to learn from Dave Elliston, Lead Recruiter at SPS Commerce, about the art of crafting effective resumes. In addition, you will receive hands-on support in refining your resume through a workshop, where industry leaders and tech professionals will provide valuable feedback. The event also offers ample time for networking and community building.
Emerging Talent:
This event is designed for you and to support you. Be sure to bring a copy of your resume, preferably on a laptop, so you can make edits during the workshop. If you wish to bring a paper copy, that’s also fine.
Calling Industry Leaders and Tech Professionals:
We invite you to participate in this vibrant event, where you can share your expertise and assist emerging talent in refining their resumes.

4:30-5:00 PM: Arrival, Networking, and Refreshments
5:00-5:30 PM: Presentation by Dave Elliston on Creating Effective Resumes
5:30-6:30 PM: Interactive Resume Workshop with Feedback from Technology Professionals
6:30-7:00 PM: Closing round of Networking
Arrival:
- The front door will be open; take the elevators to the 5th floor once inside.
- If you arrive after 5:00 PM, someone will be there to open the doors.
- There will be signs pointing folks in the right direction.
