MHTA — The application period for the MHTA Foundation 2017 STEM scholarships is now open. Applications will remain open until April 1. Scholarships are offered to help Minnesota undergraduate students in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) disciplines work toward their degrees. These awards range from $2,500 – $5,000 and can include internship opportunities at MHTA member companies.
Most scholarships are supported by the MHTA Foundation, while some are sponsored by Minnesota technology companies and organizations. Past sponsors have included Thomson Reuters, CenturyLink, MinneAnalytics, Women Leading in Technology, RBA Cares, Robotics Alley and the Cyber Security Summit.
2017 awards will be presented during the Tekne Awards on November 15, 2017.
Over the past 10 years, we have awarded almost 135 scholarships amounting to $541,000.
In 2016, 19 college students were recognized at the Tekne Awards. You can help MHTA support STEM education in Minnesota by encouraging STEM Scholars you know to apply for the scholarship or by donating to the cause.
