Developing effective strategies to inspire, hire, develop, and retain technology talent

Tech Talent brings our technology ecosystem together to tackle some of our most critical regional challenges. It functions as Lab Community where community members leverage individual best practices from across the ecosystem to come up with innovative strategies to close the talent gap and create a more diverse and inclusive tech workforce here in Minnesota. Tech Talent’s work as a MnTech Community is anchored by tackling three key priorities listed below.

On a quarterly basis, Tech Talent will convene for large group gatherings to learn from experts, and in between larger quarterly events, community members will work in their smaller strategic priority teams to ideate and execute new initiatives that tackle the priorities below. Tech Talent thrives by bringing employers, solution providers, educators, government, and community organizations together to craft innovative solutions for bridging our technology talent gap. Tech Talent is open to MnTech members and non-members.

Tech Talent’s work as a community is anchored by tackling these key priorities:

  • Attracting out-of-state talent
  • Accessible pathways to tech careers in Minnesota
  • Retaining tech talent
