MnTech Data Peer Forums are quarterly educational forums designed to provide excellent networking opportunities and candid discussions around technology issues and industry trends.

Please join your data peers in a forum where we’ll talk about intentionally planning and focusing our 2022 data analytics efforts so that all analytics work is aligned with the right business outcomes. We’ll participate in a peer-to-peer retrospective focused on our respective 2022 planning process. Finally, participants will share wins and challenges from 2021 related to doing analytics work that was centered business outcomes.

Discussion includes but is not limited to the following:

  • What are your data priorities for 2022? What went into decision making processes for how you’re using analytics resources?
    • What did you do to align analytics goals with business outcomes?
  • How are you pitching analytics as more than a “nice to have” to leadership and business units?
  • What are you doing to include customer experience in how you approach analytics reporting?
  • How are you pushing business teams towards wanting the “right” analytics aka analytics that are valuable?
  • How are you capturing the value of your data team as 2021 wraps up? What are you sharing with leadership?
  • How are you approaching your resource planning? How are you making decisions on who does what?
  • What’s your process for accepting and completing projects/tickets going into the new year?
  • How are you “proving” the need for adding more headcounts?

The first 45 minutes of the peer forum is discussion driven and will be spent in small group breakout rooms so attendees can network, share best practices, ask questions, learn from each other and more. The remaining time will be spent as a large group debriefing best practices that came out of breakout rooms. Attendees should come ready to share, learn, and contribute to the peer-to-peer discussion.
