Intern Peer Forum: Seeking Out Internship Opportunities

Please join your technology intern community in the first ever Intern Peer Forum. Interns face their own unique set of road blocks and challenges – with the increase in competition and competing priorities, what opportunities are out there and where do you find them?

Discussion includes but is not limited to the following:

  • What internships have you had and where did you find them?
  • What was the application process like? What were the high points? What were the low points?
  • Do you have any tips or tricks for the interview process?
  • How do you balance school and an internship? What have you found success in?
  • How much time did you devote to the search process?

Here from fellow interns about their successes and challenges when it comes to finding internships. Panel will include:

  • Gagan Bhat || Intern at Netflix
  • Rayna Taylor || Tech Transformation Specialist at Best Buy
  • Claire Jensen || STEP intern at Google

The peer forum will be discussion driven and there will be time spent in small group breakout rooms so attendees can network, share best practices, ask questions, learn from each other, and more. Attendees should come ready to share, learn, and contribute to the peer-to-peer discussion.

MnTech Intern Peer Forums are quarterly educational forums designed to provide excellent networking opportunities as well as candid discussions around technology issues and industry trends and challenges.
