MnTech’s Quality Engineer Peer Forums are quarterly educational forums designed to provide excellent networking opportunities as well as candid discussions around technology issues and industry trends and challenges. Please join your quality engineering peers in a forum for discussing the ways your organizations shifting from performance testing to performance engineering to be proactive versus reactive.

  • What does it take to build proactive performance engineering within your process and within your teams?
  • How do we challenge developers and architects to think about performance during the SDLC?
  • Performance and load testing versus performance engineering. What’s the value of each?
  • What’s best practice for partnering with DevOps and engineering?
  • When should quality engineers and developers/ software engineers partner?
  • Tooling/monitoring and process tied to performance engineering
  • Database performance, server side performance, etc. How do you attack this?
  • How do organizations approach auditing code and QA folks doing indexing and auditing?
  • What backend work do your organizations include at the beginning of a development cycle?
  • Where does QA go? Where does QE go?

The first 15 minutes of the forum is driven by thought leader Winfield Scott Jr., with RSM, as they share their best practices related to a few of the topics above. The remaining 45 minutes is discussion driven and will be spent in small group breakout rooms so attendees can network, share best practices, ask questions, learn from each other and more. Attendees should come ready to share, learn, and contribute to the peer-to-peer discussion.

MnTech Quality Engineers Peer Forums are quarterly educational forums, created by and for those that lead in the QA space. These quarterly educational forums designed exclusively for those that work in the QA space, which means only those who work in QA will have their registration approved.
