MnTech Data Peer Forums are quarterly educational forums designed to provide excellent networking opportunities and candid discussions around technology issues and industry trends. Please join your Data peers in a forum discussing the difficulties finding the right talent and the importance of engaging and upskilling current talent. Data leaders will have a collaborative discussion about the life cycle of a team and data in an organization and the wins and challenges that presents. Discussion includes but is not limited to the following:

  • As data and analytics technologies continue to change, what are you doing to upskill your existing staff?
  • As competition for existing talent continues to increase in the current marketplace, what are you finding effective in retaining existing staff?
    • Why would people want to join/stay on your team?
  • As demand for data and analytics skills grows inside your org, what are you doing to reskill folks in different parts of the org?
  • How do you encourage a healthy working environment and prevent burnout of your current people?

The first 45 minutes of the peer forum is discussion driven and will be spent in small group breakout rooms so attendees can network, share best practices, ask questions, learn from each other and more. The remaining time will be spent as a large group debriefing best practices that came out of breakout rooms. Attendees should come ready to share, learn, and contribute to the peer-to-peer discussion.

MnTech Data Peer Forums are quarterly educational forums, created by and for those that lead in the data space. These quarterly educational forums designed exclusively for data leaders which means only those who work in the data space will have their registration approved. If you have questions please contact Jade Denson, Jade@mntech.org.
